The WFMO X Music Savage Show “Song of the Week” spotlight is back with the fantastic new single from Maggie Rogers, “On + Off”. This is the second time we have focused on the Maryland-born musician for good reason. Rogers continues to weave electronic beats beautifully into folk melodies and blends musical genres with an ease of a performer unafraid to challenge the song-writing status-quo. The tempo shifts and layered vocals swirl throughout “On + Off” and make for a song that you will want to listen to over and over again.

Maggie Rogers’ new EP is titled Now That The Light Is Fading and will be released on February 17 via Capitol Records. Her first headlining tour as a major label artist kicks off this March and she will be in Cambridge at The Sinclair Monday, April 10th. She’s also been added as a performer for this year’s SXSW Festival in Austin. Needless to say 2017 is shaping up to be pretty big for this talented musician.
