This week’s WFMO X Music Savage Show “Song of the Week” spotlight is on the breezy new single, “Lazy,” from New Jersey-based quartet Lunch Ladies. The track is the latest release from the band’s upcoming debut album, Down on Sunset Strip, out March 10th via Good Eye Records.

Cynthia Rittenbach (vocals, bass), Matt Whitley (vocals, guitar), Matt Ramiz (vocals, guitar) and Peter Gargano (drums) all grew up on the coastal shores of the Garden State, and the laid back, summery sound of their youth shines brightly in “Lazy.” With wistful lyrics and jangly guitars you are taken back to those perfectly warm, beach going-days when you would rather sit alone in your room thinking about the boy or girl of your dreams than play in the surf. We’ve all been there right?
