DJ Rant: ‘Hide and Seek’ Song Titles on CDs

Listen, if you’re a music artist who is releasing albums on a format that people still listen to, please give your listeners the courtesy of actually listing the song titles in convenient places.  We want to know the songs we are listening to.  We also want to know the titles because we want to shout them at you at concerts.  If Lynyrd Skynyrd didn’t label “Freebird” all the classic rockers would be yelling out “Heeeey, play that really long song duuudes.  No, the really, really long song.  Really, really, really, really … yeah that one!”.  If Vanilla Ice didn’t list “Ice Ice Baby” he’d get all of us asking him to play “Bumper to Bumper, the Avenues Packed!” or “The Jack Was Jacked!” or “Word to Your Mutha!”.  It wouldn’t work.  Do the right thing, music artists.  List your song titles.

Ah, I feel better now.  For those who are strictly MP3 listeners, well … this probably didn’t make a whole lot of sense, eh?  omgrofl
